Flyers, posters and social media posts for a concert named after James Alfred Wight's bestseller series of books. Have you read these novel chronicles? They are based on a young vet’s heartwarming adventures in 1030’s Yorkshire.

Similarly the concert and the repertoire revolved around animals and how composers tried to imitate the sound of birds, frogs, cats and dogs and what not into their pieces!

Beautiful paintings by crazy talented Marco Cera are of course at the center of these posters and flyers!

Mr Speedy Wax asked me to put together a T-Shirt design with a bee that he drew. We like the end result. Gold is such a nice colour to design with, it’s so elegant in any form and shape!

It was such an interesting project to deconstruct an intricate and precious paper collage belonging to my client and to reassemble some segments to create her album cover. I have a background in architecture with a focus on urban design and I surprised myself when I started treating the CD cover design like an urban planning project: the album cover turned into a map and I borrowed the elements of the paper collage to put together a landscape, a chart! I laid down landmarks, streets, natural features like a lake with its port, and then some facades within the built fabric… and of course I did not forget to repeat some patterns, that… I will let you find! Enjoy!

This was such an exciting project for the design of the very first CD of an emerging singer in Toronto. Yay!!

It’s easy to create a fun postcard when you start from a beautiful sketch. Marco drew Vivaldi scalding the other composers with ink and water. I designed this 5 x 7” postcard for the new ensemble Corde Piferi concert in Toronto around this sketch.

I have a lot of fun giving my artworks an historical look and I use a variety of textures, masks and filters to achieve this.

Creating the TorontoLIFE magazine full page ad for the Vesuvius Ensemble was a lot of fun. It was my first experience at magazine ads!

Have a look and see if you like it. The ad, like the flyer, depicts an illustration by famous British illustrator Warwick Goble (1862-1943). Goble illustrated the Pentameron, which is a seventeenth-century fairy tale collection by Italian poet and storyteller Giambattista Basile. And Pentameron is at the heart of the Vesuvius concert season this 2018-2019. So thanks to great Warwick Goble for lending us his illustrations and thanks to Basile for writing stories that shaped several famous storytellers, including the Brothers Grimm’s stories.

5 x 7” Italian tour flyer for violinist Etsuko Kimura based in Toronto. Front and back.

This is the 5" x 7" postcard for the new concert season of Vesuvius Ensemble. The background of my postcard is a beautiful painting from a domus in the magic city of Pompei (the city South of Naples that was buried in the Vesuvius' ashes around 2 thousands years ago). The painting I borrowed depicts a bush of antique roses with a nightingale. I thank the anonymous painter for creating such a graceful and enchanting artwork.

I created the 4 panel DVD package of From Iceland to the Moon, which is a beautiful collection of historical and contemporary silent movies with music played by Toronto based Ensemble Polaris. I'm proud the package is all cardboard and it contains no plastics!
